SDD at Graph Expo 2014
At this year’s exhibition, SDD demonstrated integrated systems which finished products in one simple process without operator intervention. That’s the benefit of having a finisher attached directly to a printer. And that, combined with advanced automation, innovative features and unattended running proved to be really appealing to customers throughout the show. Indeed, SDD presented a wide range of products from their extensive portfolio at Graph Expo 2014.
The highlight of the show was the launch of the SDD BGB3202 Perfect Binder (EVA) which was attached to the Océ VarioPrint 6320 Ultra+ at the Canon stand. This binder is capable of handling books and documents of varying thicknesses and media types. Publishing on demand means exactly that: you can print complete books whenever you need them, and you can bind them to professional standards with the SDD BGB3202 binder.
Also at the Canon stand, SDD showed a complete booklet-making production line: rotating, saddle stitching, three-knife trimming and square spine forming for on-demand booklet production.
At the Konica Minolta stand, SDD Showed how booklets could be transformed with the addition of a 2-side trimmer and square spine, creating a really professional-looking finish to the booklets.
